Inspection of Lifeboat Receipt and Lofting Equipment
① Davits and winches shall be marine products approved by ship inspection. ② The lifeboat shall be able to turn out of the outboard smoothly. ③ The davit and its accessories shall be free of obvious damage, deformation and serious corrosion. ④ For the power recovery lifeboat, limit switch shall be set on the davit, and the limit switch shall be able to cut off the power supply of the winch before resetting. ⑤ The boat hook assembly and its base shall be of fast unhooking type and shall be free of cracks, serious corrosion, etc. ⑥ On the davit transverse cable, at least 2 lifelines with a length reaching the height of the waterline at no-load shall be provided. ⑦ The operating handle of the winch brake shall have sufficient strength. ⑧ The interval between the two cable ends of the hoisting cable shall not exceed 30 months. If the hoisting cable has wire drawing, deterioration, etc., or the interval reaches 5 years (whichever is earlier), it should be replaced. The hoisting cable pulley and its base shall not be stuck or seriously corroded.
